Vacancy volunteer coordinator at the Hague Animal Centre

Do you know how to motivate people with enthusiasm and humour?
Do you enjoy really getting to know people, using their skills and connecting them?
Then you are the volunteer coordinator we are looking for at the Hague Animal Centre.

What will you do?

As a volunteer coordinator, you are the linchpin in the network of approximately 100 volunteers associated with the Hague Animal Centre. You are part of a friendly team of 21 colleagues who work with heart and soul every day for the shelter, treatment, care and rehoming of cats and dogs.

• You organize information sessions for people who have registered as volunteers, inspiring them with the story and mission of the Hague Animal Center.
• You ensure that new volunteers are trained.
• You actively seek contact with volunteers during work to answer questions, show appreciation, stimulate mutual contact and ensure an involved community.
• You make suggestions for possible activities for and by volunteers to give space to their personal skills and qualities, which add value to the Hague Animal Center.
• You seek coordination with the team of permanent employees about the work of volunteers, so that everything runs smoothly and there is optimal cooperation.<
