What will happen .

From Monday, August 28 through Friday afternoon, September 1, there will be preparatory work on Lozer Avenue. The municipality will then mow and prune the roadsides. The working hours are from 9.30 to 15.00 hours. You will experience little to no inconvenience from this work.

Close Lozerlaan .

On Sunday evening, September 3, at 10 p.m., the municipality will close Lozerlaan in both directions. This concerns Lozerlaan between Erasmusweg and Escamplaan.

Operating hours .

The contractor will carry out the work at different times. This means that you will experience noise nuisance during the day, in the evening and at night. The working hours are from 7 am to 4 pm. If necessary, we will also work after 4 p.m. to meet the schedule. On the days listed below, we will continue working after 4 p.m. until 7 a.m. It is not yet certain whether work will continue on other nights.

What detours are there

There will be detours for all traffic participants during the Lozerlaan closure.

Businesses Jaap Edenweg and De Uithof .

Visitors to the businesses on Jaap Edenweg will drive via Meppelweg. For the De Uithof area, this is via Hengelolaan.

Transit car traffic .

For car traffic the following detour are in place.

Traffic from highway A12 towards Kijkduin

• Drive via Wippolderlaan (N211), Veilingroute (N222), Westlandroute, Burgemeester Elsenweg (N213), Nieuweweg (N211) to Lozerlaan (S200).
• Divert via Wippolderlaan (N211) or Erasmusweg (S105) via Poeldijkseweg (N464), Wateringseweg, Jan Barendselaan, Voorstraat, Nieuweweg (N211) to Lozerlaan (S200).
• From Prinses Beatrixlaan (S106) detour via Middachtenweg, Erasmusweg (S105), Loevesteinlaan, Meppelweg, Dedemsvaartweg, Escamplaan (S104) to Lozerlaan (S200).

Traffic from Kijkduin to highway A12

• Divert via Lozerlaan (S200) or Escamplaan (S104) via Nieuweweg (N211), Burgemeester Elsenweg (N213), Westlandroute (N222), Veilingroute to Wippolderlaan (N211).

• (Moped)cyclists The bicycle path on the side of De Uithof, in the direction of the Erasmusweg, cannot be used by (moped)cyclists. (Cyclists and moped riders heading for Erasmusweg have to use the detour via Lozerlaan, Escamplaan, De Werf, Nikkelweg, Meppelweg and Beresteinlaan. Follow the indicated detour route.

• Public transportation HTM bus line 25 will run a different route from Monday, September 4 through Friday, September 15. Bus 25 will not stop at the Lozerlaan, Erasmusweg, Melis Stokelaan, Randveen and Beresteinlaan stops. Follow HTM’s travel advice
