Towels are indispensable at the Haags Dierencentrum. We need them for the daily comfort, care, and hygiene of our dogs and cats.
Why towels are needed:
Drying and cleaning animals: After a wet walk, a wash, or a medical treatment, these are used to dry the animals.
Comfortable sleeping areas: They serve as a soft, warm surface in baskets or enclosures, especially for young kittens or sick animals.
Hygiene and cleaning: They are used to quickly wipe down or dry kennels and medical instruments.
Dropping off items
You can drop off goods at the Haags Dierencentrum reception from Monday to Saturday between 12:30 and 3:30 PM. Please note that there is no longer a collection container in front of the door.

Frequently asked questions
Which items are most welcome?
The shelter is always very happy with toys, cuddly toys, food, and dietary food (unopened) for dogs and cats.
Can the food be opened?
No. To ensure the health and safety of the shelter animals, the shelter only accepts food in unopened packaging. For medications, the expiration date must also not have passed.
Will I be given a shout-out online after a donation?
Only if you give permission yourself. The shelter always asks via email first if they can use your name and possibly a photo for a post or story on social media.
