The Haags Dierencentrum will be attending the Summer Festival of the Wateringse Veld Residents’ Platform on Sunday, June 7, 2026. A large community festival is being organized that day in the Vlietpark on Santiagosingel in Hoge Veld, which is expected to attract between 3,000 and 4,000 visitors.
The Summer Festival has grown into a popular event for residents of Wateringse Veld and the surrounding area. People of all ages can enjoy an extensive program including bouncy castles, a climbing tower, sports activities, demonstrations, performances, and various information stands from regional organizations and associations.
Visit our stand
We at the Haags Dierencentrum will also be there with our own stand. Visitors can come to us for information about animal sheltering, adoption, and the daily work we do for dogs, cats, and other pets in the The Hague region. We would also love to tell you more about volunteering, donations, and the various ways residents can support the animal center.
For us, the Summer Festival is a great opportunity to connect with local residents, animal lovers, and families from the area. We believe it’s important to be visible in the neighborhood and to introduce people to the work of the Haags Dierencentrum and the animals staying with us.
