Videographer & Content Creator (Internship or Volunteer)
In 2027, the Haags Dierencentrum will celebrate its 150th anniversary! We want to celebrate this historic milestone in a big way with unique campaigns, events, and special stories. To capture all these magical moments and the beautiful stories of our shelter animals, and to create a great corporate video, we are looking for a creative Videographer / Content Creator. Whether you are looking for a dynamic, educational internship or want to contribute as a passionate volunteer: your images will make an impact!
What will you be doing?
As our regular videographer, you will capture the oldest animal shelter in the Netherlands in a warm and dynamic way. You will be closely involved in the preparation and execution of our anniversary year. Your tasks will include:
- Creating a corporate video for the 150th anniversary.
- Conceiving, filming, and editing engaging video content (such as Reels, TikToks, and YouTube videos).
- Capturing the atmosphere during our anniversary events and exclusive behind-the-scenes tours.
- Creating mini-documentaries or ‘portrait videos’ of our dogs and cats to increase their chances of adoption.
- Collaborating with our marketing team to turn creative ideas into visual concepts.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with a keen eye for emotion and composition, who is proficient with video equipment and editing software. You recognize yourself in the following:
- You are following a relevant course (MBO/HBO) in AV production, Multimedia, or Film, or you are a very talented hobbyist videographer.
- You have your own camera and editing equipment.
- You know how to convey a story in a short, powerful, and emotional way through video.
- You are proactive, flexible (sometimes during a weekend event), and enjoy working independently.
- You have a great love for animals and perfectly sense the atmosphere of our shelter.
