Team Dog

At Haags Dierencentrum, Team Dog works hard every day to ensure the care and well-being of the dogs in the animal shelter. This team consists of dedicated staff and volunteers who make sure every dog receives the attention, care, and rest they need.

The tasks are versatile. For example, they handle the daily cleaning of the enclosures, ensure the dogs get enough food, and perform medical checks. In addition, they observe the dogs’ behavior so they can properly assess what a dog needs and what type of home would suit them best.

In addition to daily care, socialization plays an important role. Team Dog therefore takes the time to work calmly with the dogs, go for walks, play, and cuddle where possible. This gives the dogs a chance to relax and show their true selves to potential adopters.
