Team Cat
Our team that cares for our cats with all their love
At the Haags Dierencentrum, Team Cat works hard every day for the care and well-being of the cats in the shelter. This team consists of dedicated staff and volunteers who ensure that every cat receives the attention, care, and rest they need.
The tasks are versatile. For example, they take care of the daily cleaning of the enclosures, ensure all cats get enough food, and perform medical checks. In addition, they observe the cats’ behavior so they can properly assess what an animal needs and what type of home suits him or her best.
In addition to daily care, socialization plays an important role. Team Cat therefore takes the time to work quietly with the animals, play, and cuddle where possible. This gives cats the chance to relax and show their true selves to potential adopters.
