When you walk through the shelter, you see them everywhere: playing cats, curious dogs, and kittens chasing after every toy. Behind all those happy images is a lot of care, and a continuous stream of supplies. Because how much kibble, fresh food, soft blankets, and nice toys do you think we go through in a month?
To provide all the animals with high quality on a continuous basis, we go through significant volumes. In the month of June alone, for example, we spent no less than €3,500 on special kitten food to fill all those hungry bellies! We can continue to make these kinds of large, valuable purchases thanks to a fantastic group of people: our regular donors.
Why steady support is so valuable
Donations provide exactly what our shelter animals need in practice. Think of a well-filled bowl of kibble, nutritious wet food for the little ones, comfortable blankets, and toys to make their stay here as pleasant as possible.
