Good morning!
At the end of last year, we picked up our dearest cat from you. We wanted to let you know how he’s doing, and also, our daughter Ronja is so happy with Sammie and so concerned about all the animals at the shelter that she started a fundraiser.
We adopted Sammie (then Nigel) on December 13, 2024. When we came to visit, he was mostly focused on wanting to go outside, but we could feel there was a very sweet, social character underneath.
And when we brought him into his new home, he flopped down on the floor as if he felt at home right away. He also came to lie down with us and rubbed his head against our legs (ALL THE TIME!), he was so happy!
We also discovered that he loves doing yoga. He often went into the coat closet and would scratch at an old bag (or so we thought); it turned out to be a yoga block. That’s his now.
He loves playing outside and even walks with us like a little dog to the swimming pool or the shop. He’ll sit outside waiting and then walks back with us when we’re finished.
We’re enjoying him to bits and feel like we’ve hit the jackpot with him.
