About three weeks ago, Pientje walked into our lives via the shelter in The Hague. And to be honest: we can no longer imagine what it was like without her.
A flying start in the pack
This six-month-old Chihuahua mix quickly developed into a full-fledged and now indispensable member of our pack of five dogs. Especially with our Pomeranian lady Sassy, who happens to be exactly the same age, it was love at first sight. From day one, they have been partners in crime: playing together, exploring together, and basically always together.
Going everywhere together
Pientje now happily goes everywhere with us. Whether it’s shopping, a terrace or restaurant, a walk on the beach or through the woods: she enjoys everything, as long as she’s together with us. She is incredibly affectionate, social, and plays with all the dogs as if she has always belonged here.
Enjoying every season
Now that there is snow, we especially enjoy long walks and cheerful play sessions in the white landscape. It is so special to see how Pientje has found her place and is completely blossoming within our family.
Evenings full of cuddles
After such an adventurous day, Pientje snuggles up close to us in the evening. Relaxing together, reminiscing, and dreaming—exactly as it should be.
Grateful for this new beginning
Thank you to the wonderful team at the shelter for trusting us and for entrusting Pientje to our family. We are incredibly happy with her, and she has found her forever home with us.
