It’s been a while since Paula (Paloma) came to live with us. With this adoption update on Paula, we’re happy to share how well she’s doing. From the very first moment, she felt completely at ease. As soon as the carrier opened, she curiously ran into the house to discover everything. She immediately took in her new surroundings and showed that she was confident. That same evening, she was already relaxing against us on the couch. Since then, that has become her favorite spot.
What is immediately noticeable is that Paula is always nearby. She consciously seeks out company and regularly comes to see what you’re doing. Moreover, every morning starts with a regular cuddle session. As soon as she hears that we’re awake, she’s already standing next to the bed. Because of that, every day starts with a smile.
Playing, cuddling, and hiding
Besides cuddling, playing is one of her favorite activities. She can entertain herself for a long time with a simple shoelace or a ping-pong ball. Because of this, she proves that cat fun doesn’t have to be complicated. At the same time, she also has a playful stubbornness. Every now and then, she hides in the most surprising places. We’ll find her sleeping in the back of the closet, in a box, or even in a bag on the floor.
In short, this adoption update on Paula clearly shows that she has found her forever home. We are incredibly happy with her presence in the house and couldn’t wish for a better cat.
