An abundance of fluffballs
It’s that time of year again. The Haags Dierencentrum is currently being overwhelmed with tiny kittens. Vulnerable sweethearts, with their mother or all alone, found on the street and now fortunately safe under our roof. Heavily pregnant cats that come to us also get a nice spot to bring their offspring into the world in peace.
But we are now quite full and we desperately need your help!
24/7 care with lots of love
Our caretakers and volunteers are working overtime to provide the intensive daily care these little ones need. Think of:
Monitoring and weighing: Are they growing well? Every gram counts.
Medical care: Our veterinarian is on hand for advice and treatment for cat flu or Giardia.
Socialization: Seven days a week we are busy cuddling and giving attention, so they are ready for the world.
The 9-week limit: The little ones stay with us until they are at least nine weeks old. Only when the vet has fully approved, vaccinated, and microchipped them, can they go to their forever home.

We can't do it without your support
Sheltering and caring for such a large number of kittens costs a huge amount of money. A lot is needed for a healthy and happy future. Think of:
Food: Milk powder, bottles, wet food, and special kitten kibble.
Comfort: Fleece blankets, toys, scratching boards, and wood pellets.
Medical: Medication, vaccinations, and the microchip.
