HDC in the media
Haags Dierencentrum in the news
The Haags Dierencentrum is regularly featured in various media outlets. As the official animal shelter of The Hague, we are at the heart of the community. Our work, our animals, and our stories are often picked up by newspapers, online news platforms, radio, and television. Media attention helps us showcase what happens daily within the shelter and why animal welfare is so important.
Reports and publications cover a wide range of topics. Attention is given to the care of stray dogs and cats, special rescue operations, successful adoptions, and the intensive care some animals need before finding a new home. Our staff and volunteers also play a key role in this, demonstrating the knowledge and dedication required to run an animal shelter effectively.
These media appearances give people a realistic view of the animal shelter.
