On May 15, sweet Felisa was able to pack her things at our animal center. A few weeks have passed since then, and her adoptive owners have sent a wonderful, detailed update on how she is doing! It is wonderful to see how quickly a cat can find her place.
“We discovered very quickly that she responds immediately when we call her Mimi. That’s why we decided to start using that name officially. She is super sweet, very friendly, and felt like a true queen in her new palace from day one. Mimi ate well right away (she especially loves lots of food and tasty treats!), used her litter box perfectly from the start, and is constantly inspecting her new owners.
She certainly makes herself heard when she thinks it’s time for attention and cuddles, but she’s a lady with character and decides for herself when she’s had enough. During the day, she enjoys playing with us, explores the whole house at her leisure, enjoys the sunshine, and loves looking outside from the windows or the balcony (though she doesn’t feel a great need to actually go out on it). In the evening, she settles down cozily with us on the couch, watches movies with us, and purrs away happily. Rest assured, she is doing incredibly well and is very much loved and cared for here. Thank you so much for this incredibly sweet little creature!”
What a lovely and heartwarming message to receive! Felisa—or rather, Queen Mimi—has clearly found her kingdom and is fully enjoying her new life of luxury, the cozy movie nights on the couch, and all the love she receives.
