An adoption update for Felix, who has been living with his new family since Wednesday! This sweet cat showed a funny side of himself last night: he was sleeping on his belly and even snoring a little.
Felix is feeling more and more at ease. He loves being petted and cuddled, often falling asleep in the process, and has never lashed out. He already eats treats and kibble from his owners’ hands and is curious about his new surroundings. He especially comes out in the evening to eat, look outside, and meow.
Felix is slowly discovering his new world inside the house. He can already be picked up and cuddled and is even starting to seek interaction with the other cat, Mao. The two cats have their own spots, don’t attack each other, and are calmly getting used to one another.
While Felix seemed a bit sad at first, he now looks calm, content, and happy. His new family is thoroughly enjoying his sweet and playful character. With patience and love, the introduction to Mao will hopefully go perfectly as well.
Felix is a wonderful example of how a safe, loving environment can help a shelter cat grow and flourish. 💛
