Our sweet Fantasia is doing very well! She is curious, vocal when there are fresh beef strips nearby (even though we eat vegetarian ourselves 😉) and loves to seek out our company. She loves cuddling now; where she was cautious at first and sometimes gave little swats, she now shows her belly and enjoys all the attention.
Fantasia also reacts well to visitors and lets them pet her. It’s so special to see how every cat has her own quirks: Fantasia greets you by pushing her nose against yours – a cute way to say hello!
As for the introduction to other cats: with a lot of patience, things will certainly work out between Fantasia and the more dominant male cat. Sometimes a step back, then forward again. For now, she is still staying inside, mainly on the upper floors, where the gentler male cat calmly accepts her.
Thanks to the good preparation and a clever solution with a screen door, we can see that Fantasia is completely at home with us. She is cautious, but above all cuddly – something we hadn’t dared to hope for at first. We are fully confident that the introduction to the other cat will also be successful.
Fantasia remains a sweet, curious and social cat who fully enjoys attention and love. 💛
