Six weeks ago, we adopted Appa from the Animal Center, and he soon got a new name: Dinos, short for Kostadinos. From the very first moment, he felt completely at ease in our home in Rotterdam. We clicked instantly, and we’ve become incredibly attached to each other.
Dinos is a real playmate and loves to show off his energy. His absolute favorite is the wand toy, which he can play with endlessly. He eats, drinks, and sleeps well, and always waits patiently until we are awake. Of course, he’s a bit naughty sometimes and jumps on the table or counter, often just to get our attention.
First adventures and cuddle moments
Every time we come home, Dinos greets us with a happy belly-roll on the floor. He loves crawling into our laps, especially if there’s a soft blanket. We are slowly getting him used to the outdoors, and while the balcony is going well, the front door is still a bit exciting. It’s special to see how curiously and carefully he discovers the world.
In short, Dinos feels completely at home and wants for nothing. His playful character, cuddle moments, and curious discoveries make our lives a lot brighter. We are so grateful to the Animal Center for helping us find this perfect match!
