Runa

Runa came to us after being found as a stray. Sadly, no one missed her, and no worried owner came to pick her up.

Runa is cheerful, enthusiastic, and bursting with energy. Her favorite activity? Chasing a ball for hours as if her life depends on it. When she’s not running, she loves to lie down… in a water bowl or a small pool. Whether it’s sunny or pouring with rain: water + Runa = pure love.

But don’t be mistaken: behind that bouncy body is a big cuddle bug. Once Runa gets to know you a bit, she prefers not to leave your side and fully enjoys being together. Because of this, we expect that staying home alone will need to be built up gradually.

Runa is a bit picky when it comes to snacks and food. Not everything is to her taste, and she lets you know it. Sometimes she’ll accept something out of enthusiasm, but if she doesn’t like it after all, she just puts it back down without any drama. No fuss, just honest: no, thank you!

With other dogs, it’s still a bit of a hit-or-miss. We have regularly taken her for walks with a social dog. In the beginning, she kept barking and pulling, showing aggression by raising her hackles. But after several walks, things went much better, and she can now walk calmly with dogs she knows. However, she can still react fiercely to unknown dogs outside.
