Description of Odin
Odin is a young male cat with a lot to say. He arrived with a few scratches on his nose, and he wasn’t too happy about being kept in a pen. He made that clear to us every time with plenty of meowing. Whenever he was allowed out, he visibly enjoyed his freedom and quickly figured out where the window was—and perhaps a way outside.
Odin is truly at his happiest when he’s outdoors, so we are looking for a home with a garden for him. Given the scratches on his nose, he likely got into a few scraps with other cats in the past. He hasn’t made any friends with other cats in the shelter either. It will undoubtedly help that he has now been neutered, but we are looking for a home where he can be the only pet.
Odin is friendly and enjoys a cuddle from time to time. He loves his food, and it can’t be served fast enough for him. Because he can get quite pushy at mealtimes, it’s a good idea to make sure he always has kibble available. His obsession with food might stem from having to scavenge for himself on the streets. If there is always food waiting for him, his “food aggression” will hopefully decrease over time.
