Mitchu

Mitchu came to us because his previous owner could no longer care for him. Unfortunately, things were also no longer going well with the other dog in the house, and both dogs had to be separated. That’s how Mitchu’s new chapter with us began.

Upon arrival, we noticed something right away: Mitchu was missing a significant amount of hair on his hindquarters. It turned out to be a flea allergy that had gotten out of hand. Fortunately, with plenty of baths, good care, a special diet, and a big dose of love, we’ve got him back in top shape. And the results speak for themselves: Mitchu is shining again with a beautiful coat!

Mitchu is a dog with energy for ten. He is enthusiastic, cheerful, and always up for action. Sometimes he gets so happy that he expresses his enthusiasm a bit clumsily by nipping at arms—not out of anger, but just because he’s too excited. We are currently helping him learn that in those moments, it’s better to grab a toy instead of our arms. Luckily, he’s picking this up really well!

But Mitchu isn’t just a bundle of energy. When things calm down, he turns into a real teddy bear. He loves nothing more than curling up on your lap and enjoying every moment of attention. His soft side is just as strong as his wild moods.

Unfortunately, Mitchu has had some really bad experiences with other dogs. When he sees other dogs, he gets very worked up and really prefers to keep them at a distance. He makes this very clear by barking loudly and raising his hackles when he sees them. To prevent any issues, we have trained him to get used to wearing a muzzle during walks. Fortunately, this is going very well! The muzzle is no longer a problem for him.

Mitchu is looking for a home of his own where he is the only dog. A home with people who understand him and can guide him in a positive way. People who enjoy an active dog and, above all, people who love to cuddle. Because he’s a natural at that.
