It’s already been a year since Chanel found her new home after leaving the Haags Dierencentrum! Here is a Chanel update. She was adopted on April 13, 2024, and has been enjoying a loving life with her new owners ever since.
In the beginning, Chanel had to get used to her surroundings and her new family, but that worked out perfectly. She loves cuddling and being petted, and in the evenings, she often cozies up on the bed. Sometimes, however, she’s full of energy and plays with her balls, running through the house—a joyful sight for her family!
Recently, Chanel celebrated her 10th birthday. She got to pick out her favorite treats herself and daily enjoys her two favorite boxes, which are filled with a blanket and toys. Her owners are still incredibly happy they decided to take her home right away back then. Chanel is a truly sweet and playful little creature, and her presence brings a lot of joy to the house.
It’s a beautiful example of how adoption can change a life and how important a second chance is for a shelter animal. 💛
