It’s almost time: in 2027, the Haags Dierencentrum will celebrate a very special milestone! We will have been around for 150 years. To kick off this festive year in a creative and celebratory way, we are looking for the most beautiful artworks for our official 2027 anniversary calendar.
Are you a creative dog lover, a true cat artist, or do you just love to draw? Then we’re looking for you!
Let your imagination run wild
Anyone can join in, young and old! Grab your pencils, markers, or paint and create a beautiful drawing of your favorite dog or cat. Don’t forget to add a nice background to complete your artwork.
What can you win?
The winning drawing will be given a place of honor in our new 2027 anniversary calendar. The proud artist will, of course, be rewarded with their own copy of this unique calendar. This way, your work will hang on the walls of true animal lovers all year round!
How can you participate?
You can submit your artwork to us in two ways:
Drop it off: Feel free to stop by the Haags Dierencentrum. You can do this on weekdays and on Saturdays between 12:30 PM and 3:30 PM (we are closed on Sundays).
Digital: Take a high-quality scan or photo of your drawing and email it to dominiquesonneveld@haagsdierencentrum.nl.
Important: Don’t forget to put your name and email address on the back of your drawing. Make sure to submit your masterpiece to us by September 1, 2026, at the latest.
