Here is a more detailed update about our two black cats, Ares and Plato, whom we adopted from you.
They are doing incredibly well. They feel completely at home and are clearly very comfortable. They play together a lot, chase each other through the house, and always find ways to challenge one another. In between, they also like to find some peace and quiet and often come over for cuddles. They are sweet, affectionate, and clearly at ease with us, which is wonderful to see.
Ares is growing like a weed. He’s even changing color: while he was deep black at first, his coat is now becoming more and more dark gray. A tabby pattern is also slowly becoming visible, which gives him a very unique look. He seems to get a little bigger and stronger every day.
Plato is growing a bit slower than his brother, but that was actually the case from the start. He was always just a bit smaller and more finely built. Still, he is developing well, is energetic and playful, and participates fully in everything. We aren’t worried at all: he’s just following his own pace.
In short, Ares and Plato are doing fantastic and bring so much joy and love into our home. We are so happy with them. 🖤
