Annabel is home; an update for the Haags Dierencentrum
Annabel has found her new home, and her owners are happy to share how well she’s doing. From the very first moment, her transition went surprisingly smoothly. It felt familiar right away, both for Annabel and her new family.
After just three days, it turned out that Annabel is house-trained. She neatly does her business outside and still gets a reward for it, which helps this good behavior continue to develop. Moreover, she has already found her daily routine, including regular walks that she clearly enjoys.
Annabel has also discovered her favorite spots in the house. The sofa has become her best friend, and she loves to play whenever she’s challenged. At the same time, she is incredibly affectionate and often seeks out cuddles with her owners, Charlotte and her partner. She also really likes her new toys and sleeps in her crate at night without any problems.
Sometimes Annabel can still get a bit playful and nippy when she gets excited. That’s why she’s immediately given a bone, rope, or stuffed toy to play with. This way, she learns in a positive way what is and isn’t allowed.
Her new family is absolutely delighted with her arrival and enjoys her cheerful presence every day. They’ve even invited the team from the Haags Dierencentrum to come and visit Annabel in her new, happy life. A wonderful example of a successful dog adoption!
